Sinus & Nasal

Breathing & sinus procedures

Turbinate Reduction

The turbinates are bony structures inside the nose that warm and humidify air. When chronically enlarged — from allergies or structural causes — they block nasal airflow. In-office turbinate reduction uses radiofrequency or coblation energy to reduce turbinate volume, restoring comfortable nasal breathing with minimal downtime.

Posterior Nasal Nerve Ablation

For patients with chronic runny nose (rhinorrhea) that doesn't respond to medications, posterior nasal nerve ablation uses targeted radiofrequency energy to disrupt the nerve signals driving excessive mucus production. A highly effective, in-office treatment for a frustrating and often under-treated condition.

Nasal Endoscopy

A diagnostic examination of the nasal passages, sinus openings, and nasopharynx using a small flexible or rigid scope. Essential for evaluating chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, adenoid size, and voice or swallowing concerns. Performed in minutes in the office with topical preparation.

Nasal Valve Implant (LATERA)

An absorbable implant placed inside the nasal sidewall to support the lateral nasal wall and reduce collapse during inhalation. A non-surgical alternative for patients with nasal valve collapse who are not yet ready for or interested in functional rhinoplasty.

Epistaxis (Nosebleed) Cautery

Recurrent nosebleeds from an identified bleeding vessel can be treated in office with chemical or electrocautery. A quick, effective procedure that eliminates the source of recurrent bleeding without the need for nasal packing or surgery.

Ear

Ear procedures

Cerumen (Earwax) Removal

Impacted earwax is a common and underappreciated cause of hearing loss, ear fullness, and tinnitus. Professional microsuction or irrigation under direct visualization safely removes impacted cerumen without the risk of home removal attempts.

Tympanometry

A quick, painless in-office test that measures eardrum mobility and middle ear pressure. Essential for detecting fluid behind the eardrum, Eustachian tube dysfunction, and middle ear pathology — particularly in children with recurrent ear infections or hearing concerns.

Aesthetic

Medical Ear Piercing

Ear piercing performed by a physician in a sterile clinical environment — a significant advantage over mall or salon piercing for patients with a history of keloids, metal sensitivities, immune concerns, or those who simply want the peace of mind of medical-grade technique and follow-up care.

Pediatric ENT

In-office pediatric procedures

Pediatric

Frenotomy (Tongue Tie Release)

In-office release of tongue tie (ankyloglossia) for infants using sterile technique and topical preparation. A brief procedure that can meaningfully improve breastfeeding latch in newborns. Infants can typically feed immediately afterward.

Pediatric

Pediatric Hearing Screening

In-office audiological screening and tympanometry for children with concerns about hearing, speech delay, or recurrent ear infections. Dr. Samarrai evaluates results in context and advises on next steps including formal audiological referral when indicated.

Pediatric

Flexible Laryngoscopy

In-office visualization of the larynx and vocal cords using a small flexible scope passed through the nose. Used to evaluate voice changes, hoarseness, stridor, and swallowing concerns in children and adults. Well tolerated with topical nasal spray preparation.

ENT & Aesthetics

Aesthetic & skin procedures

Aesthetic

Botox (Botulinum Toxin)

Botulinum toxin injections for facial rejuvenation — treatment of forehead lines, frown lines, crow's feet, and other dynamic facial wrinkles. Administered by Dr. Samarrai, whose subspecialty training in ENT surgery and deep knowledge of facial anatomy ensures precise, natural-looking results.

Also Cosmetic

Skin Lesion Removal

In-office removal of benign skin lesions of the head and neck — including cysts, lipomas, moles, skin tags, and other superficial lesions. Dr. Samarrai's surgical training and familiarity with facial anatomy ensures careful technique and optimal cosmetic outcome. Pathology sent when clinically indicated.

Botox for Hyperhidrosis

Botulinum toxin injections for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) of the axilla or other areas. A highly effective medical use of Botox for this condition.

Botox for Chronic Migraine

Botulinum toxin is FDA-approved for the prevention of chronic migraines (15 or more headache days per month). Administered as a series of injections around the head and neck every 12 weeks. Coverage varies by plan — Dr. Samarrai can help document medical necessity.
